Ten years after the fall of Gaddafi’s regime, Libya perfectly describes how difficult it is to overcome a situation of conflict. There is no state, there is no judicial system, there is no a shared culture of respect for human rights. In their place divisions, hate, the law of the strongest, violence, impunity.
History seems to have pushed Libya to a point of no return.
The story of Tarhouna, for a long time under the control of a local clan, the Kanie family, holds all this together.
